If you have another device where the software is working, please do update the wiki to reflect it. The firmware update will allow you to place a file in the root of the built in harddrive called 'autoexec' which will be run a boot time. This will allow to start services and run programmes placed on the harddrive, or a USB memory device. Also in the download section you can find a file-system dump that you can place on the harddrive, that will allow vsftpd server, SAMBA server and includes the excellent ctorrent Bittorrent client as well. Theese firmware upgrades are really beginning to deliver interesting options, and hopefully we will see more in the future :-) You can find it in the downloads section |
