Dear specialist(s),
first I would like to congratulate you for the excellent work that you have done in ‘mgb111.pradnik.net’ repository and within this forum.

Though, I would like to report a bug (if I am right) that might be of interest to you. This concerns one of the recently uploaded files to ‘mgb111.pradnik.net’ named “transmission-1.34+webui-081027.tar”

In a few words, I have an ‘Airlive WMU-6500FS’ configured with the most basics (from ‘mgb111.pradnik.net’). I have also installed & configured properly Apache & PHP. A few days ago I tried to install Transmission 1.21. I managed to link transmission with Clutch and everything seems ok apart from the fact that once I was placing torrents in Clutch the BT did not downloading or uploading anything. In the console of transmission the files were identified as “stalled”.

Anyhow, yesterday for my good luck I found out that a new version of Transmission was uploaded in ‘mgb111.pradnik.net’. So…here is the problem!  Cry

I downloaded and installed “transmission-1.34+webui-081027.tar” but is seems that it has the following ‘bugs’:

1.
it does not contain all necessary file i.e. you  have to install transmission 1.21 first, in order to have some required libraries not included in 1.34 version for proper execution (check ‘tar’ file to see that ‘lib’ directory is missing).

2.
After I installed 1.21, then I installed 1.34 on top. Then in the ‘profile’ file of ‘/mnt/C/etc’ I add the following line: “export CLUTCH_HOME=/mnt/C/sys/www/trweb”. Apache was already configured for accessing web files within ‘/mnt/C/sys/www’. I run from the console ‘transmission-daemon –f’ and transmission seems to load ok. Though:
a. when I load Clutch from an internet browser (not IE) it says that: ‘Connection Failed: Could not connect to the server. You may need to reload the page to reconnect’. If I press the button ‘Details’ an alert window pop-up with no content.
b. from the console if I run ‘transmission-remote –l’ nothing happens. If I run ‘transmission-remote –t <torrent file>’ I get a list of all available commands just like if I was executing ‘transmission-remote –h’

Any ideas ? Thank you in advance.  Huh

regards,
Christos

...just to inform you that I have managed to overcome bug #1 by initially installing ‘libs-essential-20080502.tar.bz2’. Though the problems remain...I cannot make transmission work :-(

--> don't know about CTorrent. I just need to make Transmission work cause I need it for 'revolutiontt' private tracker.

C.
