Hi there,

I just flashed my Asus WL500gP with the latest whiterussian release
I was following macsat's tutorial found here
http://www.macsat.com/macsat/content/view/62/30/
when I ran in an error
When I issued the command
ipkg install install webif2 : ipkg install http://ftp.berlios.de/pub/xwrt/webif_latest.ipk
I got this:

root@OpenWrt:~# ipkg install install webif2 : ipkg install http://ftp.berlios.de/pub/xwrt/webif_latest.ipk
Downloading http://ftp.berlios.de/pub/xwrt/webif_latest.ipk
Package ipkg (0.99.149-2) installed in root is up to date.
Upgrading webif on root from 0.2-1 to 0.3-10...
Nothing to be done
An error ocurred, return value: 1.
Collected errors:
Cannot find package install.
Check the spelling or perhaps run 'ipkg update'
Cannot find package webif2.

Check the spelling or perhaps run 'ipkg update'
Cannot find package install.
Check the spelling or perhaps run 'ipkg update'
ERROR: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for webif:
         ipkg-upgrade-fix base-files-uci

It looks like there's something wrong with the dependencies...
Can anyone help me please?

The screenshots that are posted on the tutorial page are not the same as what I get when I access the config page of the router...it is much more limited in config options...

You might need to add something like this :

Code:
src X-Wrt http://download2.berlios.de/pub/xwrt/packages

To your /etc/ipkg.conf file
