Hi,

a) flash the ovislink.bin via recovery mode to the box, restart and flash wmu6000 fw via recovery mode

b) at least after some modification; need to verify that resulting circuit is similar to the one in Wiki

The diagram for this programmer is

http://www.sigma-shop.com/information/JTAG/jtag_sch.jpg

I think that it matches. Schufti can you confirm? - The seller is willing to produce more of these if there is a demand.

If this matches, I might very well be interested in buying one as well..

Well i bought one anyway - at this price its worth it!
The seller looked at both diagrams and said there is one extra pin on his DP25 to pin 6 = which is ground from my observation.

Seems like it maybe a perfect match - and someone who is willing to build them for us! (I bet if we asked he's build us the exact JTAGer for us)

I bought it too, hoping that custom taxes will be not too much.
If it work maybe there will be more developers, is there a way to change topic's name?
@bytespider: please let me know if it work or if you have to modify. I wish you know digital electronic better than me.

Hi,

you will definitely have to rewire some pins on the PCB. The SW tests the p8/p11/p12 combination and needs p5 to highZ the Jtag on the pod instead of on the target via TRST. If Vcc sense via p15 is needed I don't know, but better be sure than sorry. And certainly the 10pin header doesn't fit either.

I would prefer to have a custom PCB with the correct circuit (see wiki) and  rs232 both ending in the fitting 10pin header, volunteers???

P.S.: shouldn't that better be a MGB100-Jtag thread???

Hi,

interesting .... the new FW has a different fs-image. Not ext2fs-gziped but squashfs. Don't know if my upgrade image will work. Surely torrent will not work (because not in image).
