Hi

In my network i use an wl-520g as my primary router connected to cable modem and it stands as DHCP server in my nettwork. Secondly I have an wl-500g (still not delux) as AP and ftp server, printer server etc. Until recently I have been using Olegs fw but would like to try OpenWrt as well. I have succeded in flashing wl-500g with latest release (RC5 i think) but problems comes when configurating the device as AP. It simply wont connect to wl520g and i get no IP. I have entered the same parametres as used in Olegs fw for channel, hybrid mode, ssid etc. but no success.

Wl520g is set up with dedicated IP to wl500g and when setting this as default in 500g it still wont connect, and i cant access either the internet or admin interface of 520g through my computer. I have to revert back to asus or Olegs fw before I can get any access.

Any clu?
Thanks in advance

Hmm. while sitting here at work, doing notthing anyway, could it be that the mac is changed? I know, well atleast think I know, that DD-WRT is using a different mac for wlan side than the one written on the case. It yous stroke me that this might be the case...

Best regards
