Hi guys!  Grin

As a potential user of your modified firmware for my WAP-0007 I'd be very much interested in the features. What are the advantages compared the standard firmware? I could not find anything in the documentation to clarify the user's point of view.

Aside from that I have a special point of interest and I would appreciate very much if anyone could instruct me non linux guru and networks beginner. Could my WAP function as a router instead of a switch? I wonder if this is a software related issue or some additional hardware would be needed. What I want to do is plug in my WAP into my cable modem and at the moment I'd need an extra router in between.

Of course features like ssh or a little dyn-ip-updater definitely are worth considering a personalized firmware, but so far have no harddisk installed and am just using the wireless access.

Cheerio, Padan

Only TWO features. (1) You can boot from USB or HD and (2) login by telnet.
No more adventages. You can make all the adventages in your USB flash or HD filesystem.
