I have modified IPKG to install my packages in /OPT. I have also modified my EXPORT path= in /etc/profile to look for programs in /opt/usr/bin and /opt/usr/sbin.
This works fine when i run interactively from within a shell. However when i run a script in the background, f. ex. during startup from /etc/init.d, I need to supply the fully qualified path for programs called in the script. Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong?
/Peter
