Hi,
I have tried to install the lighttpd & PHP5 per the tutorial a couple of times and run into problems with links & libraries which I can't figure.

On installation of lighttpd to /opt/ I get:

ipkg: Cannot create symlink from ./usr/lib/libpcre.so.0 to 'libpcre.so.0.0.1': Operation not permitted
ipkg: Cannot create symlink from ./usr/lib/libpcreposix.so.0 to 'libpcreposix.so.0.0.0': Operation not permitted

and

ipkg: Cannot create symlink from ./usr/lib/libz.so.1 to 'libz.so.1.2.2': Operation not permitted
ipkg: Cannot create symlink from ./usr/lib/libgd.so.2 to 'libgd.so.2.0.0': Operation not permitted

Installing libpng (1.2.8-1) to opt...
ipkg: Cannot create symlink from ./usr/lib/libpng.so.3 to 'libpng.so.3.0.0': Operation not permitted
ipkg: Cannot create symlink from ./usr/lib/libpng12.so.0 to 'libpng12.so.0.0.0': Operation not permitted

So I get errors when I start:

root@Axle:~# /opt/etc/init.d/S80lighttpd start
/opt/usr/sbin/lighttpd: can't load library 'libpcre.so.0'

I have tried linking libpcre.so.0 to /opt/usr/lib/libpcre.so.0.0.1 but get Operation not permitted.

I have the PATH & LIBRARY PATH in /etc/profile set per Macsat's USB storage tutorial...

Obviously there are different lib file names being called and links have to be set up but I'm not sure where to place the links....

directory looks like:

root@Axle:~# ls -l /opt/usr/lib/

oow!
Could this be my problem?

According to this, symbolics links aren't supported on FAT FS... my storage is FAT FS.
