Hello,

recently I wanted to install the freeradius package on my WL 500g.

I installed before the ipkg package.
I used ipkg update, and then ipkg install freeradius.

During the installation (setting up of the log folder structure) there was a error displayed, saying that the folder /var.status and some other folders in it could not be created. This is not too surprising, since this is on the read only flash.

Now I am not sure, if I can just ignore this, since it will work anyway.
If there is something wrong with the freeradius package and somebody please may fix it.
Or if I need to configure my router differently, so that it allows the creation of this specific folders.

I have a usb memory stick mounted as /opt, as descriped in macsat's tutorial.

I am glad about any hints helping me to understand this better.
