      Asus: WL-500g
Platform: Oleg's 1.9.2.7-7b

I want to install an application that needs some Perl packages. I have installed microperl but it is not enough. Does somebody know how to add extra Perl packages?

I wonder if all this could be easier by using OpenWrt instead. If it is so can somebody tell me how to add extra Perl packages under OpenWrt?

In the latest OpenWrt Kamikaze trunk, there's microperl only too.

Yes, I've seen that when looking at OpenWrt wiki... but I wonder if packages can be added to complement microperl or if a complete Perl package can be installed upon OpenWrt. I have not found anything in the Internet yet about how to do this so I have founded reasons to think it can be a little bit tricky. When I installed microperl on Oleg's firmware (ipkg) the application I want to run on my wl-500g started to require packages from Perl v5.9.

I guess microperl is the solution to a device with a very limited RAM. I doubt wl-500g could handle a complete perl package.
