Yesterday I have upgrades my WL-HDD to OpenWRT --> WLHDD-1.9.2.7-7c.trx.
Before that it had the original asus firmware.
The update suceeded well.
I could ping the machine at 192.168.1.1.
Shocked When i want to make a telnet to this ip  i get:  <none> login:
I read in all the manuals that you should set the password the first time.
But  even before defining a password the system is asking me for one.
Is there a default password? I thought not.  Huh
I have tried a lot of possibilitys but  nothing seems to work.
- i have reset the machine for 20 seconds
- i have tried to put the original firmware back but that didn't work because the machine is no longer on the standard ip 192.168.1.220
- because i can't telnet i can't change the ip back to its original state

Please can someone help me out of this.?

I would like to have acces to my system. Cry

WLHDD-1.9.2.7-7c.trx. sounds like Olegs firmware, not OpenWrt.

Are you sure this was the name of the file you flashed?

Where did you get the file?

Shocked Olegs software you say. Then i have made a big mistake.
I have downloaded from macsat.com. But if you say its Olegs it will be Olegfs.
It was ment to be OpenWRT. Then first of all i will start looking at Olegs if they can help me out. When i am back in business i will try OpenWRT. Thanks for helping me an sorry for putting a question which is not a good topic here. Sorry for that

I sincerely doubt that you downloaded any firmware files from macsat.com - as I have none online to my best knowledge.

I do have some links to other sites that have trx files online, but I have none....

Anyway - did you ever get it back to life ?

Can you ping it at either 192.168.1.220 or 192.168.1.1 ?

I am pretty sure that i have downloaded it following a link from this site.
I can ping my system at 192.168.1.1 and i also managed to log in again.
Login was simple in the end: the default account admin with the default factory password admin worked.
Now i have a linux system. Thanks for all the help.
