Hi

With an increasing amount of visitors to my Tutorials I am also getting increasing amounts of emails regarding help on the Tutorials.

In order to inform all visitors of theese pages, I have decided to to open theese forums as a means of support on the Tutorials.

Since a lot of people seem to have the same questions, why not share the questions and answers with all visitors?

People are still welcome to email me if they fail to find the Forum aquedate for their needs :-)

Getting my Canon MPC400 to print via the WL500g router has failed  >:(even with the new OELEG 'firmware' update.
I tried to follow the RAW printing manual provided by OELEG but no succes.
I use a very simple virtual DMZ network wih only one modem one router and one PC.
Setting up ports in the router therefore is not needed right? Embarrassed Which steps should I take to get this printer to work Huh?

(printing via LAN works)

Thanks in advance

What excately do you mean that "Printing via LAN works" ?

Is printing via LAN not printing using the ASUS Router connected to the LAN ?

Also - which OS are you using? Windows?

Did you follow Olegs printing manual (http://oleg.wl500g.info/printing/) to the point ?

What I meant to say with that was that if I do not use the router the printer works; the printer does not seem to be the issue it is the connection.

I am using Windows XP Home
I did follow de tutorial but had the printer driver intalled before setting up the port as explained. I therfore did not install drivers afterwards. I am not sure if my printer supports the RAW format or it it needed to install the HP driver as shown in the tutorial..

does this help Embarrassed
