Post by: William on July 08, 2005, 16:42:38 PM
is it possible to put a mailserver on a usb-disk that is connected to the wl-500g?

If so, what software do i need? I am a nono with linux, so a walktrough would be nice.

can anybody help me?

Mailserver on the WL500g SHOULD be possible.

The problem at the moment is, that there seems to be some libs missing for postfix to compile nicely on it.

I know for sure that a buch of people are working on the excact same problem, so hopefully a solution is not too far away.

As soon as any mailserver software is available, I will write a tutorial :-)

Hello William,

And is it possible to run a mailserver on Olegs firmware? Did you get any information about it. I want to run a mailserver as well.

Thanks in advance,
