I have added a downloads section of the site. The section will (with time) contain all the custom made scripts and custom build binaries used in my Tutorials. Registered Users can also upload files that they believe other users can benefit from. Typically this will be files created after discussions in the Forums - where specific needs have been met, or problems solved. In order to try to keep bandwidth usage a bit down, I have decided that only registered users can download from the downloads section. This is only so that guests think twice about the need for the file before downloading, instead of just downloading everything "just in case" - Bandwidth is unfortunately not an unlimited ressource. |

I have added a tutorial explaining step for step how to install a sftp server and a normal ftp server on your OpenWrt box. Performance of most OpenWrt hardware is pretty low when it comes to transfering large files, but if you can live with pretty low performance, this might be for you :-) OpenWrt ftpd / sftpd Tutorial |

This is just to keep you all up to speed regarding what to expect from OpenWrt in the future. The OpenWrt devs are currently working on two main trunks of the software. The current Version 1.0 (CodeNamed WhiteRussian) trunk, currently at RC4 with RC5 on its way and a Version 2.0 (CodeNamed: Kamikaze) that currently only lives it life in SubVersion.

For a while there havent been any updates on this page. This has been due to busy times at my daytime job. I have however decided to install Joomla! as CMS instead of creating all the pages myselves. I hope this will cut down on the time used to create new pages, and hence speed up the process a bit. Hopefully I will soon be ready with a few new tutorials. |
