My ASUS WL-500g Premium router with OpenWrt works fine. Samba shares, FTP through vsftpd, perfect. But from linux (first Ubuntu, now OpenSuse 11) I can't connect to my Samba shares. When i turn off the linux OS firewall i can see the shares, but opening them shows empty folders. When i mount a share through commandline, giving the root account and password, then i see contents of the folders but cannot open files with read-write.

Someone a clou ?

I user 'security = share' and 'force user = root'

Linux is member of my workgroup etc.

Thanx in advance !
