Can on ASUS WL-500g Deluxe install asterisk and gatekeeper ? I want to distribute the call support for my wifi and net client. Smiley

Yes, this is definately possible.

I havent tried myselves, as I dont have a VoIp phone or VoIp Converter.

Such a device is high on my "To-Buy" list though......just need a few more euros on my PayPal account ;-)

I have not any practice with flashing firmware. Can you send me complete instruction how to put asterisk and gatekeeper on the Asus ? Thank you.

It would involve flashing to OpenWrt, and then installing Asterisk and gatekeeper.

If you have no experience at all, I suggest you start by reading a bit on my main page, and possibily on www.openwrt.org.

I have never tried to install Asterisk myselves, and as long as I dont have VOIP equipment - I am not going to either.

Yes it is possible to install asterisk and gatekeeper in your ASUS WL-500g Deluxe. Just like what my friend. However, I never tried to install it on my own.
